I have no information. But, I have some thoughts.
The steel carlines within the roof would be continuous instead of zig-zaging around a clerestory.
Clerestory roofs can require more maintenance and can leak water around the upper windows.
Appearance inside (and outside) would be similar to the newest cars on the connection Union Pacific.
