I had a set of four leaf springs made for one of my 1930 twenty ton Vulcan 0-4-0 locomotives made by Benz Springs in Portland, Oregon. In 1998 they cost $1,200.00 for the set of four. I think that springs for trucks might be comparable in cost/size.
