I good friend of mine who had almost 20 years on me, when I was a teen, told me, "ride them while you can," as you never know when the plug will be pulled.
18 ran at Mt Hood for a very brief time and taking his advice to heart, I went there with my wife and we had a very nice day of it. Very soon after that, the fires got dropped and she was moved elsewhere. I doubt I'll see her in steam again, but yeah, ride them while you can!
