while I did indeed cut my own timbers for my scale models, I have no need to do that here.
Just purchased from the timber merchant in town.
The photo you linked to was slab and slash from a small outfit that cuts landscape timbers for the townies, and that I purchased by the trailerload to cut up into firewood, mostly before my plantations came of age.
End of 2012 was the last year I did that......
