John,
There was a photo of it at Osier in the Prospector article on 223 written by Jerry Day. Stathi should have a copy of that. Also, Jerry Day had unearthed a newspaper article saying that 223 was in use as the regular engine on the Pagosa Springs branch and that it had derailed and had to be sent to the shop for repair before it returned to branch line duties. Jerry Day is on a long road trip, but I’ll see if I can find the article.
