Part 2:
Whe originally built, the C&s 3' gauge used a 19" on center tie apacing. After the downgrade of the 3' gauge lines by the C&S to branch lines, this was increased to 24" centers. (This information according to ICC Valuation data).
Bye the way, in 1918 the majority of the South Park was either 40 or 56 lb rail. this was relaid with a lot of 75 lb rail from the Pueblo to Southern Junction line when that line was abandoned.
