Wish I'd known that back in 1985. I spent almost 6 months in Honduras in the Aguan River valley south of La Ceiba. The railroad still ran to Olanchito, just east of our camp and I used to see their trains hauling refrigerated containers of bananas to La Ceiba. There was lots of old rr equipment laying around. But the bridge over the Aguan River was washed out later and the railroad abandoned. Too bad.
