To summarize Russ's post, the 1950 Rocky Mountain Railroad Club excursion with 489 is the only known / documented time that a K-36 received a green boiler jacket. There was a great charter in May of 2010 that honored that green jacket
I think there was a K-37 (499?) that has also been confirmed to have the green jacket for a RMRRC charter but could be mistaken here.
