Duane,
I have a file on the Silver Vista at home, including Blueprints, photos and construction notes (when I built one in On3)
I will confirm everything tonight when I get home...
The Silver Vista was built on coach 313's frame and undercarriage. I think your assumption of the brake rigging being pretty much the same is correct.
The sides of the car did not have glass, but they did have shades. I think polyvinyl.
Standard practice on some coaches were to have a linoleum tile as the “inside” floor, I'll check all my photos. The interior of the Silver Vista was red and the seats were blue leatherette.
The floor itself - standard practices for Coach floors were to have a “sub-floor” to hold insulation material in place between the sills. Just think of a floor on top and a floor underneath to sandwich the insulation in. I think the Silver Vista was the same but as always, I will pull the file tonight…
