The bottom has fallen out on railroad books. Even the more desirable ones. Late seventies and early eighties I went looking for reasonably priced ones. Ended up with Colorado Midland, both Poor books, DSP&P, and the pictorial supplement, Silver San Juan, Rails Around Gold Hill and many other ones. I thought I got them for a good price. Didn't buy them as an investment, but to collect and enjoy. Now these books are selling for about one third of what they were 25 years ago.My family needs to know how to "sell" these books when I'm gone. Estate sale, E-Bay, On line, train shows, auctions?, in order to maximize $. Lots of other stuff, trains, artifacts etc. Being a curmudgeon, I won't just give the stuff away. Maybe as the saying goes, "If I can't take it with me I ain't going." Russo, what's your advice?
