After February 1964 I never saw Frank Barry again. When you met him in Chama in March 1964, he must have been on the verge of leaving Chama, as he had already severed his relationship with the Peace Corps weeks earlier. A few years ago I was able to contact him by phone, and we talked about the winter of 1964 and other adventures. He must have been in his late seventies or early eighties by then. His daughter Rebecca wrote a story about his train adventures for a photo exhibition (it will come up on the internet if you type in "Frank Barry Railroad Photos"). The story does not cover much about his non-railroad career. I am not sure if I remember this correctly, but I think he was involved with teaching at a university for many years. I still think of frank as a great role model.
