I asked the same question earlier this year on this board (Wig Wags on the D&RGW Jan 6) and the reply was the D&RGW only used the type we see today and no photo evidence of wig wags. I always thought the crossing at State Street in Alamosa had a wig wag signal, but was told it was a yellow flashing light only. Magnetic Signal Corp. listed the D&RGW as a customer of their Magnetic Flagman Wig Wag in their product literature catalogue C.
