These are great Grant, and thanks for posting them. I see the first one is divided into two segments, but ironically they’re reversed chronologically. The train is heading downhill and the first section starts under the viaduct and continues into town, while the second section was filmed earlier as the train was just approaching and going over the viaduct. I found the section going into town quite interesting. For all the times we’ve stayed in Georgetown and explored the streets, I’ve never quite been able to trace the line’s route all the way through town on the ground.
The second movie is neat as well, but I didn’t see the Georgetown Loop in it. There’s a big curve around the 5 minute mark, but I don’t think that’s Georgetown. Super shots of the Royal Gorge tho. Great stuff
