Well it wont be commerically produced, but I am putting togther a DVD from Railfest 2003 using the tapes I took using my Camera. The only problem is the camera is just about as old as I am (me=1986, camera=1989), so the quality is not very good. Also, the camera is bulky, making it a little "bouncy" in some places. So far, I have just started on it, but my tapes include, scenes from the roundhouse party, with the locomotives on the turntable, the first trip the next day (Aug 22) with 473 in the lead, and the Presidental Special the next day. The footage from the 23rd features the Eureka leaving the depot, 473 at the first bridge, pacing shots of both 473 and #4 near Home Ranch, and finally the special at Hermosa and Shalona Lake before losing it going into the canyon. Also, I have lots of film from Silverton, plus a ride on the Galloping Goose.
I dont know if anyone here would want to buy it from me, but I am doing it for a school project, and if I do give it to people, I want to cover my costs.
PS. Due to a server crash at school, the files on my site went to the back up, and the watermarked photos were put back up. Sorry
