Driver diameter is 33 inches.
The box above the headlight is a panel that may be lit to show the locomotive number or in some cases it was used to indicate train numbers. The electric headlight was installed in 1921 when the SR&RL was controlled by the Maine Central. The headlight design is a scaled down version of the type the MCRR used around WW1.
