So, correct me if I'm wrong - but no steam?
We won't be bothering to visit if that is the case (when we are able to) - bit like Snowden Mountain Railway's rail cars and new diesel electric hybrids - they have no appeal to us.
(in 1999 we had to wait for four days in Caernafon for the weather to clear on Snowdon to ride ahead of steam after initially being bumped to a rail car on our initial booking - and my long-suffering wife said "now I know why you wanted to do do this with steam" as we went up the mountain!!!)
