Several of these cars were discovered on a siding at Oro Grande, NM. NASA obtained the cars and dismantled them and trucked the tubes to NASA White Sands Test Facility. We mounted them in a vertical stand and pumped them with cleaning agents from the bottom. After cleaning they were taken to the High Energy Laser Test Facility on White Sands Missile Range, installed in huge banks where they supplied various gases to the laser.
