From what I've read and heard, this might be the first time the city of Idaho Springs has done anything to maintain their train. My understanding was that the railroad sent shop workers every several years to paint it, then volunteers took over when that ceased. Is it correct that the city never spent a dime? Likewise with No. 71: has Central City ever done anything for maintenance or was it always the railroad or volunteers? Putting No. 60 and the coach under cover (finally) is great, but they really belong in the roundhouse at Como.
