Roger: Interesting perspective! I noticed starting at 8:20 there's a pile of old Cascade Trestle timbers in the view. If you look closely at the far end of the pile you can see the super elevation cleats. According to John Matthews the west end of the Trestle has a 12 degree curve on it hence the need to super elevate the track there.
