You gotta go see this!

I had the honor of being the guest of Don Shank and the Cutter's this past Tuesday.
Let me tell you, I had a blast, and have no doubt that the tourists are gonna love riding the "new" D&RG.
I've seen the area between South Fork and Creede from the highway for the last 30 years, and now have an entirely different perspective now that I've seen it from the railroad.
I was extremely impressed with the amount of work a small number of people have done to open the line. We were able to run the speeder over most of the line, almost making it all the way into Creede (with a few skipped sections).
Although I will have some video of all of this in an upcoming Railway Productions release, you really need to go out there yourself and visit these fine (and EXTREMELY HARD WORKING) people for yourself.
I look forward to the D&RG joing the proud family of Colorado passenger railroads.
