Those dates seem about right. I looked back through my photos from those eras and found these:

I don't have a date for this (other than just "1986"), but my previous roll of slide film is dated February 1986, and the next is dated as late August 1986, so it's somewhere between those:

The engine house structure is mostly complete.

I have this one noted as being probably August or September 1987, but that may not be correct. The slide had been loaned out for someone else's presentation, and when I got it back it had been re-mounted so my roll number stamp, which would have told me when it was taken, was missing:

Similar progress to the last photo, but track is nearing the doors.
