Well done Bruce. That’s an absolute positive lock with the thread link to the original photo owner, and a much clearer version where the actual tender name can be read. For the coup de gras, those arches above the combine windows, and the car’s general configuration, are a great match for their modified steam car. As James says, the loco could have gone on to be HT&W #3. I have no book etc resources on that railroad at all, but someone who does may be able to confirm that.
As to finding the old NGDF thread, I’m curious what you searched for. It didn’t come up when I searched for Mason Bogie, and even just now when I searched for Grafton.
