My guess is that the photos that you are having difficulty posting to the NGDF are larger in size that the forum software will accept. Reduce the file size / pixel count.
Depending on your system, you may be able to resize images on your local device. Or, use a free online tool like this one:
[
picresize.com]
Or, my preference is to use a free photo host like
Postimage and then include a link to the photo in your post. Postimages offers several different styles of links that work with the NGDF forum software. What Postimage calls "direct link" will result in your image being displayed "inline" similarly to the photo you displayed above. Once you upload a photo to Postimages, their system will offer you a selection of links. Copy the "direct link" one, then use the "Insert Image URL" button at NGDF (the button icon looks like a sun rising over mountains) and paste the link from Postimages into the box that pops up when you click the button at NGDF.
You won't have issues with file size / oversize images at NGDF by linking a photo hosted at Postimages since they will automatically manage file size in their system.
Postimages does not require you to create an account to host photos, but I suggest that you do create a free account. You will be able to manage your images more easily with an account.
