Re: Surviving NPC / NS / NWP narrow gauge equipment

Some NWP narrow gauge equipment went the Patterson & Western, and some went to the Death Valley RR but the equipment to Death Valley went directly from the NWP, not via the P&W... It appears that United Commercial brokered the P&W equipment sales... some went to the Eureka-Nevada but as far as I can tell none ot the NWP equipment...

There were rumors of a tank car somewhere near Samuel P Taylor park... 4 passenger cars were sold to be used as farm worker housing near Gonzales CA... a photo shows them there in the 1930's but they have never been located. Private car Millwood was placed on standard gauge trucks and is said to have been lost in the c.1962 Ell River flood.
