There were at least 4 other engines working out of Ny Alesund. One was a 2-4-0T.

The largest engine on the narrow gauge was a 2-6-0 that looks like it started life as an 0-8-0

Engine 2 was badly in need of some TLC by 2016, and that year it was shipped to Oslo where it was cosmetically restored and returned to it's train at Ny Alesund.

Of course Spitsbergen is more famous for it's wildlife and spectacular scenery than it's trains. I did not manage to get a polar bear in the same picture as engine 2, but I did manage to catch an arctic fox snooping around the locomotive.
