Over the coming month the locomotive will undergo a number of commissioning and training runs and will be officially launched into traffic on Sunday 18th April 2004. From the 19th April until mid-July (when it is is scheduled minor maintenence)it is scheduled to operate daily hauling the Puffing Billy Luncheon Special (see link).
It is likely to run the same service on about 75% of the daily Luncheon special trips each year (ie circa 280 out of 364) - details will be published periodically on the web site.
