As RGS 20 returned to life another narrow gauge engine stirred on this side of the pond in the shape of 1867-built George England “Welsh Pony” which last ran in around 1940. Sadly it will have gone unwitnessed by many due to the lockdown As one of the line’s smaller locos it’s unlikely to see use in regular passenger trains but will look great at the head of a vintage train on special events.
