About 28 years ago, I camped at the campground just below Upper Lake Mary and hiked the AMB line out of the late for over a mile south until it intercepted a logging line, then hiked the logging line back north until I was opposite the campground. I remember finding interesting "fluted" spikes. Have you see one of those yet?

I'd like to go back and explore the area again. Unfortunately, I'm usually there in early August during the Monsoon Season and the area is gumbo mud...
