Re: Movie of IRCA #251 in Guatumala

I was in Guatemala in 1971 on a John West trip, but both 250 and 251 were out of service, but Frank Barry was in Guatemala and photographed 250 out of Escuintla. The attached photo of 250 was likely taken in 1963, since in January 1964 when I chased trains with him out of Chama, he had been living in Chama for some time training Peace Corps volunteers. The picture appears in the April 1964 TRAINS magazine. I have seen other photos of 250 by Frank Barry, but this is one I could find on short notice. By the time this picture was taken, 251 was out of service and supplying spare parts to keep 250 running.
