I would very much like to see the IMAX movie that William saw, but Ridgway is very far from any IMAX theater. That IMAX helicopter crew followed the 2816 train from Golden to Fort Steele, and I am sure that they got some great steamy scenes. The few chasers, maybe 2 - 4 at times, appreciated the helicopter less, especially for videos where the sound could be pretty intrusive.
On the day of the long climb over Crows Nest Pass, the helicopter was not present
One of my favorite scenes of the two trips I followed over Crows Nest Pass was this evening glint view at Pincher Creek. This heavier train had two F units assisting 2816 over the grades.
