I have cut and pasted what Carlos wrote at the end of the latest Shop Update. This likely sums up how everyone in the shop feels about their work. The railroad is in good hands.
"Well thats the end for this week... 497 and 463 at Cumbres... from the C.J. Llamas Collection.. Thank you once again for everybody's kind words and e-mails.. the work is hard and the hours long, but we continue to work our hardest, the sore muscles and doubts will never keep us from our duties.. we will rebuild these Locomotives and they will climb Cumbres once again.. Steam will never die here, We are Proud of our Railroad Heritage and our Country... and we will do our Best and Better to Preserve its History for the Future... Thanks ... Carlos Llamas."
