These photos are fantastic!

A quick few questions for anyone with an answer (and sorry if these are repeats, I have been preoccupied of late). I assume 0470 is attached for convenance because of its mitigation work, or is it needed for trips to Silverton? How does it work with 493’s tender. Is it hard piped and the water level is even between the two? Or is it pumped into 493’s cistern after there is room?
