The NNGC has no central organization.

So, in this case the organizing committee is the one that is cancelling. The committee is probably concerned with restrictions that may still be imposed by the State and local health organizations. Also by attendees deciding to op-out (cancel reservations and registrations) for a variety of reasons -- including health and money.
