Thank You for the Steam Fix, and for jogging my memory of some similar shots of my own (although not of a truly special double header - see [ngdiscussion.net] et seq).
The first and second shots on your second post at first looked to me like they were taken at the curve about 1/4 mile west of m.p. 294 – where Steve Forney shot an excellent short video back in October, 2012 (see youtube link on [ngdiscussion.net]) – but then I noticed the milepost (which is probably m.p. 293) smack in the middle of the curve in the second photo . . .
Just goes to show that one (or even two or three) should not jump to conclusions!
