Something a bit odd about the timing of the KRDO article and RR threat to close - It's dated today (5/21) but if you follow the RR's FB page down a bit you'll see they were informing people over a week ago that they were reopening on 5/23, so apparently they've known they would open on the 23rrd since at least 5/13 or 5/14.
