The original map was dated 1883.
However, through the years various changes were made to the map
This version of the map I would date around 1900.
The SG&N was built during 1899. The SG&N engine house is not shown. I don't have the date it was placed in service.
The word "grade" along the Silverton Railroad may be from earlier change. It appears SRR was in place at this time, 1900.
During 1893 the Silverton RR constructed two miles from Silverton to Silver Lake Mine at Waldheim. (The way I see it, from around 13th and Cement St)
Then the Silverton Northern constructed the line from there to Eureka in 1896. The 2 miles constructed by the Silverton RR were turned over to the SN
All this according to Ms Crum. ("Three Little Lines")
The Silverton RR and the Silverton Northern did not officially merge into one company.
