Two original, rotten tie fragmets in their original alingment (Leadville Main and track 37 or the next 2 parallel tracks to the track we are building) plus the frog angle of the standard 8 1/2 C&S NG switch frog crossover equals the perfect triangulation of the location or alignment and profile or elevation of track 39 ( and all the theoritical trackage) in Como's "North Yard", in relation to the turnout of the Denver Main, as far as the tangent of the switch or turnout we are building in front of the hotel. Hats off to the 1918 ICC valuation for documenting the linear points of curve, tangent and degree to the variable of curves at least on the main lines plus the linear location of all turnout headblocks (switches)
The maricle is that those 2 ties are about the only original remaining in the north yard in exception of one, 3 way switch tie in the north end of the yard.
