Both the Hotel and Depot have Facebook pages.
And the Denver South Park and Pacific Historical Society have their own web site. [

We started laying track as the restored Depot looked odd without any in front, as there were only a few of us and ties were being fetched in half ton trucks it took us sometime to reach the Hotel/ Roundhouse property line. At that time we spoke with the Brantigans and asked if we could continue heading for the Turntable with the vague hope that in the maybe 5 years it could take us something might happen there. The following year the Brantigans bought Klondike Kate and things really took off.
It has always been part of the plan to rejoin the Hotel and Depot. The major issue was that in about 1980 the Hodges had dirt brought down to form a berm in front of the Hotel to stop snow melt coming in through the door.
This only happened because Bob and Chris brought over their equipment, particular thanks to them, also looking at extending the platform and work has started to do that.
The track will form the same barrier as the berm did.
