Redcar those valves are for draining the air tanks. Each tanks has 1. They could also remove any water that could accumulate inside. 1 of the non historic but practical changes we made to 20s brake system was to add a particulate filter/moisture trap.

Thanks for the kudos guys. The museum has launched a digital campaign to keep museum members, fans, and would be patrons engaged while we are closed. The co tent includes story time with our E.D., a craft for parents and kids to do together, shop updates when possible, and a virtual tour of some of our equipment. The most recent of those featured our Colorado Midland observation car 111.
