I remember heading back to Durango once and Lizard Head was the only pass I could get over Circa 10,000ft which is same altitude as Fairplay.

When the Engine Shed on Boreas burned they replace it with snowsheds and this was well after the introduction of Rotaries. And they were kept until the end.
