The other day I found a clip my brother shot at Cumbres in 1991. He was on the side of the section house to the west of it slightly. I was on the side by the water column. In his shot they plow over the bridge, and change the chute so the snow goes toward the water column. When they resume the snow is churning toward Randy, and he is just barely out of range as it passes. After the water column the flipped it back, so the guys on the other side like me had to walk over the snow to the section house side, to avoid the snow. Plowing Cumbres was always exciting and some of my favorite stuff. I believe I got it coming up over the hill once like your still in 2020.
What I want to know is how rough was the rotary run on the wood structure of the rotary in 2020, versus in the 90's. Back in the 90's the vibration was really rough, and several boards were broken. I suspect the hard ice and snow-pack of the 90's was worse than 2020!!! Any reports on that situation?
