So unfortunately the museum won't be open until May and Marshall pass will have a lot of snow on it. I've never tried going up it in the winter, it might make a good snow mobile trip though! Sargent still has the water tower that you can get up close to. The Depot is still there in Crested Butte and it's pretty cute to go see. The little town museum in the old conoco station in CB has a nice Hon3 layout of the town. Most everything has been built up over although if you go up towards Oh Be Joyful there's still some grade. On the drive to CB you can still see most of the RoW pretty easily from the road north of Almont. South of Almont the grade is on the other side of the river and pretty far from the road. Going up ohio creek you can see a good portion of the grade but after the pavement stops I'm not sure how well it's plowed. You can get to Pitkin but trying to get north of there is impossible in a car. The grade west of town is still pretty visable in places. The best way to see the grade is to drive to the water treatment plant. The road to the plan is on the old grade. The gunnison depot still exists but it's private property.
