Thanks Jerry. I was the guy that was asking about your 375 hat at the dinner one of the nights (I think that was Saturday).
Snowshoeing back into Coxo was my favorite part of the experience. As an AZ native living in the low desert it wasn't something that I had ever done. I stepped on the tails a few times and stumbled a bit but managed to stay upright.
Coxo was incredible with the long unobstructed run and being up so close to the plow. The little fountain of snow that was emitted on the right side in this shot was interesting as it would bubble up. The plow made slow but steady progress along this stretch as the snow was coming down on us. After the plow rounded the curve and headed up on the mountain side it seemed to get bogged down in one area. The slipping sounds were incredible but I'm sure that the crew would have liked easier going along that stretch. In the end the crew prevailed and provided us with a great show all the way to Cumbres!
