How 'bout 5 days

I've reset the default time to 5 days and we'll see how that goes.
Now for "cookies". I personally really don't like them however I also don't want my personal prejudices interfering with people's personal preferences. So, I've set up a poll to determine if we should add cookies. Speak and be heard.

The main reason that I set the default to 3 days then to 2 (in addition to speeding download time) was to reduce our monthly transfer volume. As things stand we're "limited" to 1.5 GB of data transfer / month. However last month we transferred 2.3 GB, which to me is absolutely amazing since this is virtually an all text site. To avoid additional charges I reset the defaults to search a shorter period of time and I've been watching the transfer volume closely. As of now we're doing just fine, of course this has been a rather unusual month. At any rate, it looks like we should be fine with 5 days as the option.
