Steve, that would be the lower end of the Curry line, a logging spur, actually the only logging spur built to main line specs.
It also had the largest trestle of the entire system on it, the pilings and some rotten boards are still visible. It was 60 or 70 feet tall, and about 200 feet long.
The Main line hit the valley at the site of the dam at Phillips lake and is underwater until you get to the Sumpter end of the lake.
