I've taken the fireman's school at the C&TS, and these pictures were never far from my mind.
Steam DEMANDS you respect, it won't just ask for it nicely.

I'm reminded of a quote from a character on "The Simpsons" named Sideshow Bob. As he was about to detonate some explosives to kill the protagonists, he told them "You might notice a slight ringing in your ears. Fortunately, you'll be nowhere near them."

Be mindful of the grade, keep the water glasses appropriately full, don't work water, and don't run dry.
