Re: WP&Y new diesel article

As a younger railfan, (I am 29) - It is so tiring seeing references that things HAVE to be done X way, or no way at all. None of this stuff is getting younger, and for practicality, having some Diesels on site is not the worst thing.

And I am so, so over hearing the term "Dismal" and "Diseasels".

Everyone has a right to their opinion, and I would never knock that one. But I would LOVE to see some of the old WP&Y equipment painted up in DRGW colors running in Colorado. If the 3' gauge survived, it would be Diesel. And I don't fault WP&Y one but for upgrading equipment. It could be nicer, but it could be worse also. They are a very busy railroad, and need modern equipment to run what they do. I know what its like to try and maintain a piece of 60+ year old equipment and keep it reliable.
