I don't know.

What I do know is that all the pictures I can recall having seen from the period (roughly) 1890-1925 of trains on the branch the power is always of classes 45 1/2, 47, 56 or 60. Some lighter stuff earlier.

Post 1930 all I have seen is are C-18, C-25, K-27, K-28.

I also seem to recall that there were a few years in the mid-1920's, after the arrival of the newer K's on D&RGW, most of the C-19 engines were on lease to the RGS, before the widespread use of the K-27's on the Southern began later in the decade.

Beyond that, ya pays yer money and ya takes yer choice.
Unless somebody has a photo or Jimmy can find it on one of his dispatchers sheets, of course.
