The world needs good railroaders, the C@TS must have good railroaders to manage it's trains on the 4% grades. I am glad yall worked together and I am glad Earl is back on the narrow gauge, I wish he could stay.
I found out what kind of hogger Earl is when he walked the E & P #4 away from the tank at Cresco without a slip the very first time she made it to the top of Cumbres from Chama. I was in the coupola of 0535 (is that the right number?) and there was a loud shout of excitment that ran through that old hack when he pulled it off.
