I heard sometime last summer that we had swapped them even, for 4 box cars. I assume 3000 series, but, I'm not sure.

Don't know how factual that is. Box cars, and box car hardware, are in high demand at C&T. They want another stealth rider car, and two boxcars have been appropriated from the restoration pipeline for long term storage of dry storage operating supplies (from other things we had planned for).

This is just an opinion, but, I think C&T is trying to avoid more shipping containers in the Chama yard.
